The Lexmark Impact’s matt-ish black color is a total eye candy for me. However, this printer has a lot more in store. For its price at less than $100, I would say that this is perfect for families who would like to spend less on their printers. Nevertheless, the price did not compromise the functionality and quality of the Lexmark Impact S305.

You have the option of using the usb port or the built-in 802.11 g/b wireless server. All you have to do is install the set up cd  and run the program for the wireless set up.

As for the printing process itself, the Lexmark printer can hold up to 100 sheets of paper. This is a speedy and efficient printer based on my experience. However, if you need double sided printing features, you may want to check out another printer.

Hot Artichoke Dip

You will need:

-         ½ cup reduced fat mayonnaise

-         2 cups Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

-         Additional 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

-         2 teaspoons lemon zest (freshly grated and preferably organic)

-         2 artichoke hearts, (rinsed)

-         2 cloves garlic (minced)

-         Cayenne pepper (to taste)

-         Pepper (freshly ground, to taste)

-         Salt (to taste)

PROCEDURE:

1. Preheat your oven until reaches 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Chop artichoke hearts. Place in food processor.
3. Add the 2 cups of Parmesan cheese, cayenne, lemon zest, mayonnaise, and garlic.
4. Season the mixture with the pepper and salt. Place in 2 shallow baking dishes.
5. Sprinkle the dishes with 1 tablespoon of Paremesan cheese.
6. Bake the mixture until the top of dip has reached a golden color. This will take approximately 10 to 20 minutes. This recipe serves 10.
